Beethoven initially composed this for an orchestra. However the piano version(which is this one) is arranged by Arthur Rubinstein. There is no piano version composed or written by Beethoven.

That is not the turkish march, and turkis marchs is of Mozart....
kubicam (November 29, 2008 at 9:36 am)
Oh wow. I know it's shocking, but Beethoven ALSO wrote a Turkish March. Did you honestly think the performer and every person on YouTube who saw this before you missed a glaring detail like that?
Dhanen (November 29, 2008 at 9:41 am)
Sorry. I meant the first Turkish March is from Mozart, Beethoven's is less famous and when someone search for Turkish March, if composer is not specified we think is Mozart's. See ya.

composer IS specified indeed. its in the video profile, plus the kissin himself says "beethoven - the turkish march" at the start, so..

There are TWO Turkish Marches.
The one Kissin is playing now is by Beethoven, the Turkish March from the Ruins of Athens.
The other one, which is most commonly known and more famous, is Rondo Alla Turca, written by Mozart.
There are TWO Marches, one is very commonly heard and famous, which is probably why people think that this is not the Turkish March.
